Square Enix has released a new trailer for United Front Games’ Sleeping Dogs that’s focused on the racing action in the game.
The trailer consists of in-game footage of fast-paced racing action. Sleeping Dogs‘ driving is referred to as “high performance action driving” that features over 65 vehicles, which includes cars, motorcycles, and boats. Drivers can ram vehicles and force them to spin out, perform stunts, engage in “action hijacking” by leaping from a motorcycle onto a moving car, and participate in high-speed gun battles as well. Also, the game has illegal street races where money, girls, and status are the rewards.
The trailer closes with a scene of a motorcycle driver shooting his bike to create an explosion to take out two gunmen, followed by the Sleeping Dogs artwork and logo, and a message to pre-order now.

Sleeping Dogs is currently scheduled to release in the second half of 2012 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
