Hope News Times Fourth Edition & Screenshot Released For Hitman: Absolution

The latest issue of the Hope News Times and a screenshot have been released by Square Enix for Hitman: Absolution.

The fourth edition of the Hope News Times is headlined by the story of the death of a 49-year-old auto mechanic named Josh Wiggins. Wiggins’ corpse was found pinned under a car he was working on. Sheriff Clive Skurky said that the “accident” was likely caused by material fatigue and a malfunction in the lift controls. Another story details how an Officer Monroe allegedly “accidentally” ran over a shovel in the street that ripped apart his tires.

A screenshot provided alongside the newspaper shows that it was Agent 47 who tampered with the controls and thus caused Wiggins’ death, making it far from an accident. Nothing in the screenshot suggests he was responsible for the shovel left in the street, though.

Something interesting to note is that a previous death in the town involving a young man being electrocuted was described as a “prank” and now this death is described as an “accident.”
