Rumor: Sony To Announce PlayStation Plus Revamp At E3 That Includes Vita Integration

Sony is rumored to be announcing a revamp for its PlayStation Plus service that will include integration with the Vita.

Eurogamer reports that multiple sources have indicated to them that Sony will be announcing a revamp of the PlayStation Plus service at E3 with the intent of attracting more subscribers.

The report claims that subscribers will be offered “top-tier” games free of charge and that the service will also see integration with the PS Vita. On PS Vita, PlayStation Plus will allegedly offer DLC, Vita exclusive titles, and cloud services (which would mean that Vita owners wouldn’t have to connect to PS3 or a computer to back up game saves and content).

Sony has made no announcements concerning a revamp of PlayStation Plus, but PSLS will be at E3 and will keep you posted if there are any further developments.
