Those of you looking to breeze through the single player of Arkane Studio’s upcoming title Dishonored will apparently need to commit just over ten hours to complete the main story.
In a Q&A on the official Bethesda Blog, the game’s co-creative directors, Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio addressed the game’s length, saying that “play-style matters a lot. Very direct players will probably get through the game in 12 or 14 hours.”
Of course, the game will be a considerably longer experience for those who wish to delve into every nook and cranny. In fact, according to the blog, “Explorers who eavesdrop a lot will take twice as long.” As an added incentive to replay Dishonored, Arkane has included a number of upgrades that can’t possibly all be acquired by playing through the game a single time. “Plus there are 40 bone charms in the game that grant small supernatural perks. But no one can have all of these things in one playthrough.”
Dishonored is set to release on October 9th.
