Modern Warfare 3 Content for Elite Subscribers Coming to PS3 Later This Month

Subscribers of Call of Duty’s Elite service will be getting a fresh batch of DLC in just a few weeks thanks to a recent report from Infinity Ward.

According to the official Infinity Ward Twitter account: “Next #MW3 PS3 Elite content drops 8/16. Includes: 2 MP maps Decommission & Offshore + Spec Ops mission Vertigo.” Along with this news, the developer also included an image of Vertigo, which we’ve embedded for you to check out below.

The first of the two multiplayer maps, titled Decommissioned, is set in a ship graveyard, while the second, dubbed Offshore, takes place at an oil rig within its engine rooms. The previously mentioned Vertigo map is strictly for Spec Ops, and is set atop Dubai’s Oasis hotel. And as IW mentioned it their tweet, this will all be available starting August 16th.

There’s no word yet on when non-Elite subscribers will be able to get a hold of this content, so keep it locked to PlayStation LifeStyle for future updates on Call of Duty and all things PlayStation.
