Shinichi Suzuki Stepping Down From His Role as President of Atlus NA

Index Digital Media Inc., the parent company that owns Atlus, has just announced that Shinichi Suzuki will be stepping down from his position as CEO and president of Atlus’ North American branch.

Naoto Hiraoka, the current head of consumer business will be filling Suzuki’s shoes and undoubtedly has a lot to live up to. Suzuki has held the role of Atlus NA president for the past eight years and has been with the company for the past 11.

The Atlus boss had the following to say about his departure:

In the time since I assumed the role of president and CEO of Index Digital Media, Inc., the company has experienced tremendous success and growth.

I am so proud to have served at the helm of such a well-loved brand as ATLUS. I thank my staff and all of the fans that continue to support the company and its games. Under new leadership, we will continue our proud tradition of excellent games and exceptional localizations.

Suzuki will continue to advise the company up through September.
