Namco Bandai has announced some of the retailer pre-order bonuses for Ni no Kuni.
Gamers who pre-order the game at either GameStop U.S. locations or Canadian EB Games will receive an exclusive SteelBook case with alternate artwork, available while supplies last. Gamers who opt to pre-order the game at Amazon.com, though, will receive an exclusive griffy familiar not seen in the original Japanese version of the game. The griffy is known as the Hunter of the Skies and can spy its prey from great distances. The griffy is said to be quite a force in combat and can evolve into more “lethal” forms, the griffurnace or the griffrigerator.
Ni no Kuni also has a “Wizard’s Edition,” which is available for pre-order on Namco Bandai’s web site for $99.99. The Wizard’s Edition includes a spellbook, a Drippy plush doll, and two DLC familiars.
