Sony has just announced that come this Monday, the PlayStation Network will be down for maintenance for a good 14 hours.
The downtime will take place from 8am to 10pm PST (11am to 1am EST). Fortunately the maintenance won’t lock players out of everything, as Sony has clarified that as long as you’ve signed in recently, you’ll still have limited online access.
If you’ve signed onto PSN over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable.
Be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during this maintenance window.
The news was first made known on the US PlayStation forums, so right now the downtime can only be confirmed for that region.
