Cross-Buy For PlayStation All-Stars Is Tied To Your PSN Account

Phil Lynch, Product Manager at SCEE, has detailed how the PS3-PS Vita Cross-Buy system will work. Replying to someone on the EU PS Blog, he explained:

Cross-buy works when you insert your PS3 game disc into your PS3, you follow the on-screen instructions to receive your PS VITA version, as a download from the PS Store.

It’s tied to your PSN ID so you won’t be able to give away the PS VITA version to a friend.

Although you won’t be able to give your PlayStation Vita copy away, you still get a PlayStation Vita copy for free, and in my books, that’s pretty good.

In other PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale news, you can find out which character you are by heading over to their Facebook page. Also, if you live in the UK, you can enter to win a free copy of the PS3 version by playing a card game.
