escapeVektor Comes to PS Vita Next Week, Gets a 20% Discount on PlayStation Plus

It’s been available in Europe for over a month, but the PS Vita title, escapeVektor, will come to the North American PlayStation Network on January 22nd. Developed in Australia by Nnooo, it will sell for $9.99 for regular PSN users, with PlayStation members getting an additional 20% off until February 5th.

Originally planned as a 4-chapter series, this complete edition on PS Vita will include 150 levels across 27 worlds, additional enemies and obstacles, three types of online leaderboards, and a Wildcard system that allows you to earn a way to double your score in each level.

Nic Watt, Creative Director at Nnooo, talked about how escapeVektor takes advantage of the Vita:

On the PS Vita we use the gyroscope and the touchscreen to adjust the camera angle and move Vektor around in the overworld maps, and we’re also making use of near functionality to drop additional Wildcards that players can pick up and use.
