North American PSN Users Can Now Pay With PayPal (Mostly)

PSN members in North America can now add funds to their virtual PlayStation wallets via PayPal when using Sony’s Entertainment Network site.

You need to sign into the site to pay up, and can only choose the standard set increments of $5, $10, $20 and $50. When logged in, go to ‘Add Funds to Wallet’, then click ‘Add Funds to Wallet’ once again, then ‘PayPal’, choose your deposit and follow the instructions. However, numerous reports online and Twitter indicate the process is still rather buggy and doesn’t always work, so don’t take it personally if the system fails you.

PayPal for PSN has been available in parts of Europe for a few months, and also suffered launch kinks, but now is stabler.

Will you use PayPal, or do you prefer Sony getting the full cut? Let us know in the comments below.
