Things just keep getting better for the upcoming PlayStation Vita release of Velocity Ultra, as FuturLab has announced that the space shooter will now include a Platinum trophy.
This news comes shortly after they held a vote on their site to determine just which allotment of trophies they should include with Ultra. As of right now, 1 Gold, 3 Silver, and 9 Bronze is the clear favorite, but with this Platinum, FuturLab said that there will be even more trophies. In their words, we’ll see “more Gold, lots more Silver, and lots more Bronze.”
As for why and how this Platinum trophy came to be, FuturLab posted this on their Twitter account:
We told Sony that our fans wanted a Platinum Trophy. Fortunately, it seems, some of our fans also work at Sony :p
