As You’d Expect, The DualShock 3 Won’t Work on PlayStation 4

When it came to light that the PlayStation 4 wouldn’t play physical or digital PlayStation 3 games, the writing was pretty much on the wall for the fate of the DualShock 3. Shuhei Yoshida, President of Worldwide Studios, then confirmed what we all figured by saying, “No, [PS4] doesn’t support DualShock 3, but it does support PS Move.”

Being that the PlayStation Move was actively shown during the Media Molecule portion of the meeting, PlayStation Move compatibility doesn’t quite come as a surprise, though it’s nice to know we can at least use something from PS3 on PS4.

What’s the most you’d pay for the DualShock 4 at launch? Anything higher than the current $54.99 price of the DualShock 3? Let us know in the comments below.
