Dynasty Warriors 8 Attacks the PS3 on July 12th in Europe, July 16th in North America

Tecmo Koei announced today that Dynasty Warriors 8 is headed to the PlayStation 3, via retail, on July 12th in Europe and July 16th in North America. Pre-order bonuses have yet to be fully detailed, but GameStop does list the game at $59.99, with ShopTo giving it a £34.85 price right now.

In DW8, you’ll follow the story of the kingdoms of Wei, Wu, Shu, and Jin as they try to gain control over the Three Kingdoms of China. Features this time around include over 70 new and returning playable characters (including Yue Jin and Li Dian), over 40 new stages, multi-endings, Free and Gallery modes, English and Japanese voices, Rage mode to temporarily boost your officer’s abilities, a new action system, and ‘What if?’ scenarios. The latter of which sees what would have happened if certain characters hadn’t died, giving you the chance to experience an alternate history.
