DC Universe Online was confirmed as a PlayStation 4 launch title earlier in the week, but the MMO has been available on the PlayStation 3 for many years now, becoming quite popular in the process.
As part of a recent article by GI.Biz, John Smedley, President of Sony Online Entertainment, remarked about how “the single faster growing segment of our business is DC Universe Online on the PS3.” Breaking down specific numbers, Smedley continued by saying, “70% of our revenue [on that game] comes from the PS3 and 70% of our player comes from the PS3.”
If you’re one of those people playing DC Universe Online right now, the 8th DLC pack for the game, Sons of Trigon, will be available for Legendary Membership holders starting next week. Then, everyone receives access to it on September 3rd in North America and September 4th in Europe.
