Need for Speed: Rivals PS4 Release Date in the US & Canada is November 22nd, 1 Week After Console Launch

It seems as though EA is going to be a little more unorthodox when it comes to the PlayStation 4 launch (November 15th) in the United States and Canada, with FIFA 14 and Madden NFL 25 already releasing on November 12th, and NBA Live 14 out on November 19th.

Well, they’ll be continuing their staggered release date with Need for Speed: Rivals in the US and Canada, as it comes out on November 22nd for PS4 (as well as Xbox One). European gamers don’t need to worry though, with Need for Speed: Rivals launching day and date for the PS4 on November 29th.

If you’re unfamiliar with Rivals, here’s a description for the game from EA, along with a trailer:

Need for Speed Rivals puts gamers behind the wheel of both sides of the law, daring them to cross the line as either a cop or racer in order to gain any advantage in the street’s ultimate rivalry. Players will choose between two distinct career experiences, each with their own set of high-stakes challenges, rewards, pursuit tech and cars. The intensity of the action is at an all-time high thanks to AllDrive, a revolutionary new feature that destroys the line between single player, co-op and multiplayer. Through AllDrive, friends will be seamlessly connected to one racing world where their races and chases can collide at any time, creating the ultimate edge-of-your seat experience.

Need for Speed: Rivals will also release for PS3 on November 19th in North America and November 22nd in Europe.
