With the news of DriveClub getting delayed into early 2014, it means that there’s a vacant spot in the PS4’s PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, something that will be filled by Contrast, a PS4 launch title from Compulsion Games. Constrast will join Resogun from Housemarque as the two PS+ games offered when the PS4 releases next month.
If you’ve never heard of Contrast, we’ve placed a trailer below, and Shuhei Yoshida says it “it will whisk you away to a surreal vaudevillian, film-noir inspired reality full of performance, intrigue, shadow-play and drama… I’m sure you’ll agree that it is unlike anything you will have played before”:
As for the DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition, it will still be offered for free as part of the Instant Game Collection when the full game releases sometime in early 2014.
In an added bonus for PlayStation Plus members, an exclusive Open Weekend trial for the Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer will be happening on December 28th – 29th.
