Yuna Summons Great Sales Numbers, Tops Japanese Charts (…Kind of)

After last week proved that it was difficult to find a copy of the Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster on shelves in Japan, it’s no surprise to see it doing dang well on the sales charts. What did come as a surprise was that despite its great performance, there were two games that would go on to rank higher, in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and the 3DS version of popular mobile game Puzzle & Dragons. That said, the FFX collection still placed higher when you combine the different versions, as it was available as a twin pack on both PS3 and Vita, and the individual games could also be purchased for Vita.  Add them up, and you get almost 340,000 units — more than enough to be the actual best-selling game of the week.

Here’s the full list of Japan’s 20 best-selling games for the week of December 23 to 29.
