Shuhei Yoshida (or Brohei Broshida as he’s now know by on Twitter) is the latest Sony exec to talk about The Last Guardian and its absence from E3, despite repeated confirmation from the company that it’s still in development.

As part of a chat with Eurogamer, Yoshida said that he was “happy” the false cancellation rumor was retracted before the show, but the message about The Last Guardian is “the same” as at gamescom, which is that it’s still being worked on.

Speaking more about the cancellation rumor, he added:

Lots of people tweeted me they were heartbroken by that news [prior to the show]. People are going through this roller coaster of emotions, and it’s our fault for not releasing the game, yet. We owe a lot to those people, but we really don’t want to release piecemeal information until we can say this is The Last Guardian – so we ask you to wait.

Would you be okay with small bits of info regarding The Last Guardian, or do you want a full showcase?
