While Sony Computer Entertainment Europe President Jim Ryan believes the cumulative effect of games like Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Battlefield: Hardline, FIFA 15, DriveClub, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Grand Theft Auto VThe Last of Us Remastered, LittleBigPlanet 3, and more will help sell PS4’s in 2014, if he had to pick just one game that will move hardware, it would be Destiny (via CVG):

If I had to pick one, it’d probably be Destiny. We’re partnered up with Activision on that. The intensity and depth that the two organizations are working at is something I’ve never seen before. Both really want to make this work in a really serious way. The game is obviously multi-format so it will be out on Xbox One and 360, as it will be on PS3. But I think, certainly in our eyes, the main prize is the PS4 version of the game. We want to make that absolutely enormous.

Considering how Destiny’s alpha test is going on right, there’s a beta upcoming in July, and there will be a white PS4 bundle when the game launches on September 9th, it’s easy to see why Ryan thinks it will be the biggest system seller this year.
