YouTube 60fps Video Support Announced, Check Out the First Videos

Tired of watching low quality YouTube gameplay footage? If so, you’ll be glad to know that YouTube is bringing 48 and 60fps (frames-per-second) videos for users to check out.

The official YouTube blog mentions:

Your video game footage with crazy high frame rates will soon look as awesome on YouTube as it does when you’re playing, when we launch support for 48 and even 60 frames per second in the coming months,

Some of the videos that have implemented 60fps are Battlefield: Hardline, which you can watch above, and Respawn’s Titanfall. Just make sure you enable HD before watching it.

You can check out the other changes in this rather lengthy post. Let’s hope this pans out well and we see further changes down the road.
