Japanese Sales Chart: The Last of Us Remastered Can’t Stop Yokai Watch 2

It doesn’t matter if The Last of Us Remastered is released in Japan; nothing can stop Yokai Watch 2.

The mega-selling 3DS game finished in first place again by moving another 77,000 copies last week, bringing its lifetime total to 2.29 million. This means The Last of Us Remastered on PlayStation 4, which debuted to 30,000 sold, had to settle for second place, while Bullet Girls on PS Vita and Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition on PS4 and PS3 rounded out the top 5.

Over in hardware, it was a down week everywhere, with the 3DS XL dropping by 14,000, the Vita falling by 5,500, and the PS3 plummeted by 4,000 and managed to move just 2,300 units. As has been the recent trend, the regular 3DS managed to beat the PS4, this time by 1,000 units.
