It’s no secret that The Evil Within is the brainchild of Resident Evil creator — and father of survival horror — Shinji Mikami.
However, what you might didn’t know is that The Evil Within has a little treat for fans who’ve played the first Resident Evil. About two chapters in, right when you meet the first zombie, a familiar scene takes place. Watch the video above to see what we mean.

The Evil Within is Censored in Japan and You Need the “Gore Mode” DLC to Play the Western Version
Tango Gameworks edited the Japanese version of The Evil Within so it’s rating will land at CERO D (ages 17 and up) in Japan. However, players in Japan will be able to download the Western version via DLC. Check out the details here.
