UK Sales Chart: FIFA 15 Rules Again, Freedom Wars Barely Places in Top 40

November 3, 2014Written by Jason Dunning

There’s just no stopping the juggernaut that is FIFA 15, with the title capturing first place for a 6th consecutive week since launch, the most so far of any 2014 game. Looking at last year’s FIFA 14, it too had a six week #1 streak on its way to 12 first place finishes overall, but it didn’t occur from launch.

Because of FIFA 15’s first place finish, Insomniac’s Xbox One-exclusive Sunset Overdrive had to settle for 2nd place, while WWE 2K15 on last-gen consoles debuted in 5th. Elsewhere in new releases, Lords of the Fallen placed 11th, The Walking Dead Season 2 was at #23, The Walking Dead Game of the Year Edition for Season 1 was at #36, MX vs ATV Supercross placed in 38th, and just placing in the top 40 was Freedom Wars at #39.

Here’s the top 20 selling retail games in the UK for the week ending November 1, 2014, according to GfK Chart-track:
