Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you might have heard that a little game called Grand Theft Auto V has just been released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
When GTAV launched last year for the PS3 and Xbox 360, it became the second best-selling video game in the UK of all time — an accomplishment it managed to snag in less than a year. According to MCV, it understands that GfK Chart-Track will combine sales of the PS4, Xbox One with those of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, which would mean it will surely beat current record holder — Black Ops II — as the new reigning UK video game sales champ.
Of course, there’s a slight chance that GTAV on the PS4 and Xbox One won’t set retail chains on fire in the UK, but given how reviews seem to pain the game in a positive light once more, I somehow doubt it’ll bomb.
