Sony will try to exit 2014 with a bang with its first-ever PlayStation Experience event, which will be kicked off with a keynote speech where announcements (and tears) are to be expected.

While Capcom might have jumped the gun with Street Fighter V’s trailer announcement leak, that’s just the tip of the iceberg, as Sony is promising a bunch of reveals and exciting stuff from its first-party studios. MLB: The Show developer Sony San Diego has also teased something, which the studio has said isn’t connected to an MLB game.

If those are a bit too obscure for your taste, the PlanetSide 2 PlayStation 4 beta date is expected to be revealed this weekend, as well as new gameplay details from No Man’s Sky.

Don’t forget that a bunch of panels will also take place within the weekend, with one of the most interesting ones being the Ask Me Anything portion by Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida, and PlayStation exec Adam Boyes. You can check out the complete live-stream schedule here to know what Sony’s showing next.

PlayStation LifeStyle won’t just be reporting on the news as it happens, but our own Senior Editor Chandler Wood is attending to report live from the show floor. So expect a torrent of hands-on and gameplay previews to pop up on the site over the next few days.

In the meantime, sit back, relax, interact in the comments, and wait for Sony to dazzle everyone with what they have in store for PlayStation fans in 2015.
