SEGA Working on Adapting Its Video Games Into Movies and TV Shows

SEGA has hired former Break Media executive, Evan Cholfin, as part of its efforts to adapt its video games for TV, films and web-based digital content. Variety reports that Choflin has been appointed as Head of Development and Production at Tokyo-based Stories International,which is a joint venture of SEGA and Hakuhodo DY Group. 

Among its portfolio, Stories International currently has the rights to Crazy Taxi, Virtua Fighter, and Golden Axe. Variety also reports that the company is already moving forward with an English-language live action, animated adaptation of Crazy Taxi among others. 

SEGA has not released any further details at the moment, so we don’t know when we can expect to see these adaptations.
