The sequel to last year’s OlliOlli, developer Roll7 announced today that OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is releasing next week on March 3 in North America and March 4 in Europe for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, complete with cross-buy and cross-save.
Featuring a new look, new levels, new tricks, full leaderboards, split routes, and more, Roll7 talked about how much gameplay to expect:
The core Amateur mode is about 7 hours of gameplay, with Pro adding another 10 to that – with Daily Grind and Spots on top – that’s a huge amount of gameplay. Add to that Combo-Rush, the Local Multiplayer mode coming very soon in a free update – the bodacious extreme action will never end!
Simon Bennett added:
The tiny team here in Deptford has created some serious skatey magic, even though it’s 2D and was made by 10 people, it’s the best arcade skateboarding experience you will find anywhere, ever!
Unfortunately, one feature in OlliOlli 2, Combo Rush, won’t be available at launch. The four player local multiplayer mode will instead be added “very soon” after launch via a patch.
Also, just like Helldivers, there was no price announced for OlliOlli 2.
