With E3 2015 now wrapping up on its final day, Geoff Keighley went on Twitter to confirm that E3 2016 will return to Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 14 to Thursday, 16, 2016.
As with this year, expect press conferences from various companies to take place on the Sunday and Monday preceding next year’s big event.
According to the Entertainment Software Association group, which organizes E3, more than 52,200 people attended E3 2015. That number is up from 48,900 for E3 2014, though this year’s event did see 5,000 fans getting invited.
In a statement obtained by GamesBeat, ESA Chief Executive Mike Gallagher said:
As a driving force for technological and entertainment trends across the globe, the video game industry clearly demonstrated how it is revolutionizing the way people consume, engage, and interact with media.
