Bandai Namco has released new screenshots, art, and details for its Vita RPG Digimon World: Next Order.
First up, players can cheer on the monster in their party as they take action in battle. They might even respond to your cheers with a boosted performance, kinda like sports, if I am to understand sports.
Our high-schooler protagonist wakes up in the digital world and is attacked by Mugendramon. He flees and meets Jijimon, who is helpful, but not helpful enough to send the hero back to his home world. Thanks for trying, Jijimon. Players are then tasked with helping save and rebuild this dying world, all the while looking for a way home.
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth began as a Vita exclusive and then was announced for PS4. I’m assuming Next Order might get the same treatment if the portable version proved successful again in Japan, and if the western PS4 version meets certain sales targets.
