Along with becoming the 4th biggest launch of any game in 2015, Star Wars Battlefront now holds the title for biggest ever launch in the Star Wars franchise, moving 117% more copies in its launch week than previous record holder Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
Since GfK Chart-Track considers it more of a reboot than a sequel, Battlefront is the fastest-selling non-sequel PlayStation 4 title ever, besting Destiny. Additionally, 59% of physical copies were sold on PS4, 39% on Xbox One, and 2% on PC.
