Rainbow Six Siege Terrorist Hunt Mode Not Available Offline After All

Despite Ubisoft’s claims to the contrary, the player vs. AI Terrorist Hunt mode in Rainbow Six Siege is unavailable to those without an internet connection.

Early adopters took to Ubisoft’s forums to express their dismay that the game mode wasn’t available offline after all. Prior to launch, the publisher trumpeted Terrorist Hunt as a means of compensating for the lack of a single-player story mode.

The game supports solo play when playing Terrorist Hunt offline & online and we will provide further details on single-player content in the near future.

Now, only a day after the shooter’s arrival, a Ubisoft Community Manager formally confirmed that the Terrorist Hunt mode is online-only — for now, at least.

An internet connection is required to play Terrorist Hunt mode. I will pass long your desire to see it as an offline mode as well! Currently only situations and custom multiplayer matches are available offline.

Rainbow Six Siege launched earlier this week across PlayStation 4. Have you been left wanting an offline version of the player vs. AI mode in question? Do let us know.
