Oh, Ubisoft. You’re like the “cool” parents who let their kids eat ice cream for dinner every night and then seem surprised when they end up with diabetes and a mouthful of cavities. Too much of a good thing is not a good thing.
However, in a nearly unprecedented move, the company has realized the error of their ways and is putting their biggest franchise, Assassin’s Creed, on the bench for a year.
This is good, but have they really learned their lesson or are they just going to swap out chocolate ice cream for butterscotch with a Watch Dogs sequel and repeat the process?
Only time, and much baiting, will tell.
