Metal Gear Online DLC Cloaked in Silence Drops March 15, Includes Three Maps and Quiet

Konami has narrowed down the release window for Metal Gear Online‘s Cloaked in Silence DLC, confirming that the multiplayer title will receive three new maps and Quiet as a playable character come March 15.

Priced at $3.99, there’s also a host of new emotes (AKA Action Appeals) that will be released alongside Cloaked in Silence, offering you new ways to embarrass yourself and those around you for $1.99 each.

As for that trio of arenas, Konami described the new additions as so:

  • Coral Complex: A dedicated Motherbase environment, allowing players to access tall towers and use storage containers and other internal areas as cover for tactical advantage. Coral Complex mixes open areas and a myriad of hiding opportunities.
  • Rust Palace: Set within Afghanistan, the Rust Palace is a large multi-level building. The skeletal nature of the decrepit ruin means that cover is scarce, while the internal areas are rich in dusty rooms and high-up sniping positions.
  • Azure Mountain: An outdoor plain under Africa’s baking sky. A small cluster of buildings offers scant cover, with only derelict walls and occasional scrubland surrounding the massive rock known locally as the Cradle of Spirits.

Looking further afield, Metal Gear Online will also receive a new 6 vs. 6 Survival mode on April 7. Essentially, each team is tasked with racking up the biggest win count possible. It’s worth noting that you won’t need to own Cloaked in Silence to access the new game mode, but without said DLC you’ll be limited to 10 rounds per week.

Metal Gear Online‘s Cloaked in Silence DLC will be available from March 15.
