Activision Answers Why Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan Won’t Feature Couch Co-Op

While Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan might look a good old fashioned brawler, there’s one thing from the past that it won’t feature and that’s couch co-op and now we know why.

Speaking to Kinda Funny Games, Activision Producer Robert Conkey reveals that developer Platinum Games really wanted to add couch co-op, but couldn’t due to technical limitations since adding split-screen co-op will cause the framers-per-second (fps) to become worse. Yep, that’s a bummer, but at least there’s online co-op, right?
