Because there was an issue where Star Wars Battlefront players were automatically raised to level 60 after installing the new Outer Rim expansion, DICE rolled out a hotfix today, resetting you back to the proper Rank:
Due to Rank issues we’ve had with our max level players (auto-60, crashes at end-of-round) were resetting Rank stats for some players to alleviate the backend issue we have detected. Servers will go offline for roughly 30 minutes while this update is applied.
We apologize for any inconvenience but this step is necessary so that you can properly gain levels again and avoid crashes at the end of rounds.
Also with the recent Battlefront update, DICE added Hutt Contracts, which are challenges given by Jabba the Hutt to earn new rewards.
Contracts are unlocked by paying credits and, using the Relby-V10 contract for Season Pass and Outer Rim owners as an example, require you to complete challenges to earn the reward:
- Get 3 Targeting Rifle Streaks
- Get 40 kills with an heavy blaster
- In a round, kill 15 enemies with any targeting rifle
After unlocking a contract, a percentage meter will keep you updated on your progress. Furthermore, there could be multiple levels of challenges that unlock better rewards, and you can have multiple contracts active at once.
More new Hutt Contracts will be added to Star Wars Battlefront as free updates and within the Season Pass.
