Bethesda has released a new Doom trailer that shows off how players can customize the single-player experience to suit their play style. Check out the video above as Executive Producer Marty Stratton and Creative Director Hugo Martin explains the intricacies of Doom’s combat system.
While most shooter campaigns today sheperd you into one hallway to the next, Doom seems to deviate from that by letting the player choose how they want to tackle enemies. Want to mod your shotgun so you can shoot from long range? You can do that. Want to focus on speed for your character to run around enemies while you blast them in the face? Yep, you can do that too.
Doom definitely isn’t your typical military shooter. Prepare for hordes of demons, monsters and other beasties that will make you sweat. Not to mention there’s a ton of blood and gore in it as well.
