Naughty Dog Is Hiring for Their Next Game, Listing Hints at Third-Person Action Title

A tweet from Naughty Dog Lead Game Designer Emilia Schatz has revealed that the developer is hiring for their next game.

In the job listing linked by Schatz, it shows that Naughty Dog is hiring for a Game Designer on a single-player title. As one of the responsibilities shows, it’s likely a third-person action game:

Design and produce fun and emotionally engaging third-person action gameplay and levels, from high concept planning to object placement and scripting.

The requirements and skills adds, “Experience designing and scripting single-player levels for console games,” and “understanding of and experience playing 3rd person action games.”

With Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End now available, Naughty Dog is working on the post-launch multiplayer content and single-player DLC. According to previous comments from Creative Director Neil Druckmann, they’ll resurrect their The Last of Us prototypes once that Uncharted 4 single-player DLC is complete.

Naughty Dog’s Ricky Cambier also said earlier this year that “there is no doubt that the next thing we do, we’re gonna get even more out of that PlayStation.”

What do you hope to see next from Naughty Dog?
