E3 2016 – Wolfenstein: The New Colossus Apparently Teased by Bethesda

A report prior to E3 correctly predicted the announcements of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition and Prey last night at Bethesda’s E3 2016 press conference, but was seemingly wrong when it came to Wolfenstein: The New Order 2 and The Evil Within 2. As it turns out though, Bethesda may have actually teased the next Wolfenstein game at the very beginning of the event.

In the above image that appeared prior to the Quake announcement, Bethesda listed Wolfenstein: The New Order with its May 2014 release date, followed by Wolfenstein: The Old Blood with its May 2015 release date. Then, with a starred out release date, they list something called New Colossus, suggesting that the next game in the series is titled Wolfenstein: The New Colossus.

Doing a quick search, The New Colossus is the name of the poem from Emma Lazarus engraved on the Statue of Liberty, possibly hinting at a United States setting for the game.
