In testing with Sony for PlayStation 4, and now available for Xbox One and PC, an update for Fallout 4’s Vault-Tec Workshop is designed to fix several issues with the latest piece of DLC.
Here’s the list of fixes included with the Vault-Tec Workshop update:
- Vault Exterior Door no longer has a missing texture if Wasteland Workshop is not installed
- NPCs will no longer incorrectly sit at the Vault Security Desk
- Vault-Tec Water Pump and starting generator now auto repair when entering workshop mode
- Player can no longer assign companions or Overseer Barstow using the population management system to prevent this from breaking them
- Vault-Tec population management system will no longer say jobs are available when is no one valid for job assignment available
- Vault Experiments can be scrapped in workshop mode
- Fixed issue with Overseer Barstow’s audio cutting out after Clem’s interview
- Interviewing the second settler candidate will not reset after the dialogue option take a break
Provided Sony doesn’t find any issues with it, the Vault-Tec Workshop update should be available soon on PS4.

Conception 2: Children of the Seven Stars
The plot of Conception 2: Children of the Seven Stars sounds like a cheesy pick-up line, but it might actually be successful. The game's protagonist must create "Star Children" with female students in order to fight monsters and save the world. Since child birth is a long process, they've sped up the process using a Matryoshka doll. It might be best to not think about the science behind Conception and just enjoy the JRPG wackiness instead.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
If I had a dime for every time a murderous bear trapped a bunch of students in a schoolroom and threatened to kill us, I'd have zero dimes. Sadly, all of the characters in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc have at least one dime. It's not only the story that's weird, as the game's characters are filled with personality and individual quirks. One only has to have a few conversations with Hifumi Yamada to realize that his love of 2D girls is a bit much (even if they are more loyal).
-
Divekick
Divekick is a love letter to the fighting game community, and there's a lot of weirdness involved. From Jefailey's huge head to everything about Dr. Shoals, every character is filled with in-jokes. Throw in the addition of crossover characters like Johnny Gat and the Fencer from Nidhogg, and you have the best and strangest fighting game on the Vita.
-
Doki-Doki Universe
Doki-Doki Universe is an adventure game designed around taking a really in-depth personality quiz. If that wasn't strange enough, players play as a lovable robot who has to visit alien planets filled with even stranger characters. It'll make you laugh, wonder what drugs the developers were on, and have a good time.
-
Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space
Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space allows Vita gamers to battle as many giant insects and aliens as they want. It's clunky and glitchy, but there's a certain je ne sais quoi about the whole experience that makes it appealing. EDF! EDF! EDF!

Get Off My Lawn!
Get Off My Lawn! is the worst game on this list (sorry EDF), but thankfully it's free. On the bright side, it stars an old grumpy man who is just not having it when aliens start invading his yard. Armed with a shotgun, Gramps is ready to repel these aliens from his yard forever. Or at least until gamers uninstall this from their Vita after playing it for five minutes.
-
Hatoful Boyfriend
Mike Tyson may love pigeons, but he definitely doesn't love them in the way that Hatoful Boyfriend allows gamers to. This pigeon dating sim is a wonderfully weird post-apocalyptic tale. If you buy it for a laugh, don't be surprised if it ends up surprising you with its compelling narrative.

Murasaki Baby
I guess it's not surprising that Murasaki Baby was designed by Massimo Guarini, who worked on Shadows of the Damned. What is surprising is how Murasaki Baby ends up being way weirder than his previous work. Players are tasked with guiding the titular baby through an eccentric world, holding her hand and protecting her from dangers. It's one of the best uses of the Vita's touch screen, and is a game worth playing even if it has its issues.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch
It's totally understandable if you're wondering why I posted a picture of a totally normal dad to talk about Octodad: Dadliest Catch. The thing is, that isn't a regular father. It's actually an octopus in disguise (trippy, right?)! Octodad is a joyous romp through some everyday occurrences (such as lawn care and grocery shopping), but its control scheme makes it super memorable and fun.

Orgarhythm
Orgarhythm has a lot in common with the PSP hit Patapon, as its a rhythm and strategy game hybrid. Players will tap their Vita in order to issue commands in battle, and thankfully the soundtrack is good enough that most would be tapping away anyways. It's not perfect, but it's an experimental game worth your time.
