Overwatch Free Weekend, Steep Open Beta Now Live on PS4

If you’ve been waiting to play Overwatch, the latest Free Weekend is now live on PlayStation 4 for PlayStation Plus members. Simply download the 12GB file from the PlayStation Store (North America, Europe) and you’ll have access to all of the heroes and maps until Monday, November 21 at 4pm PT/7pm ET.

Should the Free Weekend convince you to buy Overwatch, all of your progress will transfer over to the full game. As a special sale this weekend, Overwatch is $39.59 USD/£29.99 for all PSN users and $34.79 USD for PS+ members.

Overwatch isn’t the only game holding a free weekend right now, with ZeniMax offering a Free Play Weekend in The Elder Scrolls Online on PS4 until Sunday, November 20 at 11:59pm local time. You can download the demo from the PlayStation Store (North America, Europe), but keep in mind that it’s a 73GB file.

Just like Overwatch, your progress from the Free Play Weekend will transfer over to the full game, which is on sale for the next week. In addition to up to 40% off Crowns, you can pick up The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for $9.89 USD/£7.99, The Elder Scrolls Online Gold Edition for $29.99 USD/£19.99, or The Elder Scrolls Online Gold Edition Premium Bundle for $49.99 USD/£27.99.

Finally, the Steep Open Beta is now live on PS4 until November 21. A 7.5GB download from the PlayStation Store (North America, Europe), the Open Beta “will allow you to create your ride and get a first burst of adrenaline in the Alps.” By participating in the Open Beta, you’ll receive the Crash Test Dummy outfit.

Steep releases on December 2 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Will you be playing any of these games this weekend?
