NieR: Automata Demo Arrives on December 22 for PS4

The NieR: Automata demo will be available on December 22 in North America, Europe, and Japan for PlayStation 4, Square Enix announced today. Set in an abandoned factory, the demo will see android 2B trying to destroy a massive enemy weapon that lies within.

According to previous comments from Producer Yosuka Saito, the NieR: Automata demo will offer 30 to 40 minutes of gameplay, allowing players to properly experience the game.

If you missed the news at PlayStation Experience this weekend, NieR: Automata’s Day One Edition for $59.99 USD will include these six pieces of exclusive DLC: Machine Mask Accessory, Grimoire Weiss Pod, Play System Pod Skin, Retro Grey Pod Skin, Retro Red Pod Skin, and Cardboard Pod Skin.

There’s also a $189.99 USD Black Box Edition available through the Square Enix Online Store that includes the game, a YoRHa 2B Figurine, a hardback artbook, a steelbook case, the original soundtrack with 13 live recorded songs from NieR and NieR: Automata, and a collector’s box.

NieR: Automata releases on March 7, 2017 in North America and March 10, 2017 in Europe. A PC version is also scheduled for 2017.
