Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare & Modern Warfare Remastered Double XP Weekends Start Today

Starting today, December 22, at 10am PT/1pm ET, Activision will be hosting Double XP weekends in both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Since it’s a holiday weekend, the 2XP will last until Tuesday, December 27 at 10am PT/1pm ET.

For Modern Warfare Remastered, Raven Software’s Amos Hodge said, “Additionally there is a great bundle sale on Supply Drops. The deal is so good you can only buy it once.”

Infinite Warfare’s 12 Days of Winter celebration kicked off yesterday, offering anyone who logged in an animated playercard. For the 2nd Day of Winter today, Activision and Infinity Ward gave anyone who logged in a gift crate with 20 keys, but due to an exploit where players could receive thousands of keys, they took it down:

Gift crates have been turned off for now due to exploits. We’re looking into this and will start up the gifting again once resolved.

When a player pointed out that they were quick to make an adjustment when it involved money, but leaderboards still aren’t available, Infinity Ward replied, “Completely different systems and different code at play. This was an exploit. We’ll talk about leaderboards once they’re ready.”

Here’s a preview of some of the upcoming weapons you can expect in the 12 Days of Winter:

If you missed the announcement, the Sabotage DLC pack for Infinite Warfare is releasing on January 31 for PlayStation 4.

Will you be playing Call of Duty this weekend?
