Horizon Zero Dawn Update 1.11 Today Fixes An Issue Introduced With 1.10

Following the release of update 1.10 yesterday, developer Guerrilla Games discovered an issue with the new patch causing the game to crash when you bought an outfit or weapon you already own. With Horizon Zero Dawn update 1.11 today, they have fixed that issue, as the patch note shows:

Fixes

  • Fixed the issue when the player would buy an outfit or weapon they already owned.

If you ever encounter an issue with Horizon Zero Dawn, Guerrilla suggests reloading a recent manual save, quicksave, or autosave from the Load menu option. If you still experience the issue, Guerrilla asks you to send them some screenshots of the area where it occurred and your location on the map.

Along with bug fixes and adjustments, yesterday’s Horizon update added the ability to press and hold X to buy multiple items from merchants.

Recently, Guerrilla confirmed that there will be an “expansion to the story” of Horizon Zero Dawn, but they haven’t given any specifics on it yet. Asked if the expansion might see a physical release, similar to the upcoming Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Game Director Mathijs de Jonge said, “Can’t say yet.”
