New PS4 Pro 4K Games Trailer Features God of War, Gran Turismo Sport

Titled ‘Dynamic 4K Games Only On PlayStation’, Sony released a new 60-second trailer today that highlights four PlayStation-exclusive games playable in dynamic 4K on PS4 Pro with a 4K display.

Horizon Zero Dawn and MLB The Show 17 are already available for PS4, while Gran Turismo Sport is scheduled for release in 2017 (the beta is currently being held). God of War, meanwhile, doesn’t have a release window yet, and the video only uses footage previously seen in the E3 2016 gameplay trailer.

On Twitter last week, God of War Director Cory Barlog said “I really only work on games with a heavy narrative focus,” and his goal with the new title is to have a better lore/history/narrative than previous games in the series. Asked how development’s going, Barlog replied, “It’s going well. It’s a daily emotional meat grinder but I feel very good about what we are doing.”

Sony’s E3 2017 press conference is scheduled for Monday, June 12 at 6pm PT/9pm ET. Do you think we’ll see God of War there?
