Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac Dev Working on New Unannounced IP

Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac designer, Edmund McMillen, has announced that he’s working on a new IP with programmer Tyler Glaiel. In a blog post on The Binding of Isaac‘s tumblr page, McMillen said that the duo have been in “crunch mode for the past three months” trying to complete work on the unannounced game.

“We are coming close to announcing it and its release date, so keep and eye out for it,” he wrote. “I don’t want to spoil the fun yet but I can say this – it’s hard, it’s weird, it’s personal, it has amazing controls, it’s a totally new unannounced IP and it’s easily one of the largest games I’ve ever made level wise.”

Last July, McMillen announced a new game and later teased another project but it appears that this is something entirely different.

We’ll update our readers when we have more info.
