It looks like Monolith isn’t letting the two-month delay on the release of Middle-earth: Shadow of War slow down the hype for the game as the trailer for its story has just been released.
The story trailer features both series protagonist Talion and Celebrimbor as they wield the power of the New Ring and use it to assemble an army to fight against Sauron and his Nazgul. The trailer shows off some of the game’s characters, some of which look to be new allies, as well as some of creatures Talion will encounter and possibly subdue or defeat throughout the game.
A few notable sightings in the trailer include the giant spider Shelob who seems to have also taken the form of a human woman, the infamous Balrog, and what looks like a new kind of Orc.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War was originally announced for release in August 2017 but was delayed to October 10, 2017, to give the developers more time to polish the game.
