E3 2017 – Blade of Galadriel Will Be Playable in Future Middle-earth: Shadow of War DLC, Runs at 30fps on Consoles

In one of the Middle-earth: Shadow of War cut-scenes Monolith Productions showed off at E3, during the PC Gaming Show, we get to meet the Elf assassin Altariel, who is also known as the Blade of Galadriel.

Altariel has come to Mordor to hunt down the Nazgul and any who are corrupted by a Ring of Power, leading her to kill Talion in their first encounter. The cut-scene shows the meeting of Talion, Celebrimbor, and Altariel, after Talion awakens from being killed.

Monolith Studios Creative Director Michael De Plater confirmed that the first major story DLC coming to Shadow of War will give Altariel her own fully playable campaign, incidentally called the Blade of Galadriel, although De Plater did not give any details on when the DLC would release.

Additionally, during an interview with Geoff Keighley for YouTube Live at E3, De Plater also confirmed that Shadow of War will run at 30fps on all consoles, citing stability regardless of the number of elements on screen.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is scheduled for release on October 10, 2017, for the PlayStation 4 and other platforms.
