The PlayStation 4 port of Undertale is a fantastic version of the role-playing game that won over the hearts of millions on PC. There are a couple of new additions, though, and the biggest one comes in the form of the Undertale Dog Shrine. If you took a look at the game’s trophy list, then you noticed that a bulk of the list is related to this new feature. If you want to get the PS4 version’s Platinum trophy, then you’ll have to find it.
Thankfully, the Undertale Dog Shrine isn’t hard to find. It’s located within the house of the skeleton brothers, Papyrus and Sans. Players can first access the location during the date with Papyrus, and it’s found in the kitchen. All players have to do to enter is to interact with the sink, which will then become a doorway. Walk on in, and players will find themselves at the new location.
As you can see above, the Undertale Dog Shrine is very humble at first. There’s just a cute little doggo, and a donation box. It’s up to the player to make the Dog Shrine into something special, and they’ll do this by donating one gold coin at a time. It’s a tedious affair, but overall the player only has to spend 350 gold at the location. When I first encountered the area, I already had over 200 gold to spend, so it shouldn’t take very long to make the Undertale Dog Shrine into something special.
I won’t spoil what the Undertale Dog Shrine ultimately looks like, but you can see by the above picture that it starts to look pretty ridiculous over time. If you ever run out of money while donating, just continue onward with the game, and come back later. If you want to get it quickly, I recommend farming some of the random battles in the game. It won’t take that long to come up with the 350 gold you need, and eventually you’ll make the Dog Shrine look wonderful.
