Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will release September 19 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Sony just released a new trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite that shows off the fighting game’s exclusive content on PS4. It reveals that the Major Carol Danvers costume for Ms. Marvel will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version.
Here’s the full description:
When accomplished Air Force pilot Carol Danvers was caught in the explosion of an alien device, she was imbued with super human powers. As an Avenger, she used her gifts to protect the planet. Now she is a member of the resistance, joining in the fight against the ultimate threat in this newly-formed universe — Ultron Sigma. By picking up Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite on PlayStation 4, you’ll be able to get this exclusive costume to fly into the battle with just as Carol Danvers did in her past.

This trailer comes after Capcom recently revealed that there’ll be four pre-order costumes for the two-on-two fighting game. The costumes include: Warrior Thor, Evil Ryu, Gladiator Hulk, and Command Mission X.

Now that I’ve had another chance to learn the systems in place, and most importantly change my mindset, I actually have had a lot of fun playing Infinite. It’s definitely a very different experience from Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but since that game is available on PlayStation 4 already, I’m glad to be getting something different. Gameplay revolves less about calling in partners for assists, and instead feels much more like Street Fighter X Tekken from a tactical standpoint. That isn’t a bad thing in of itself, and I feel like more people will appreciate the intricacies of the action once they let go that this isn’t Marvel vs. Capcom 4.
